Seaport industry group: Funding bill addresses freight-mobility needs

The American Association of Port Authorities (AAPA) praised U.S. senators for including several seaport-industry freight-mobility priorities in legislation recently advanced by the Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works (EPW). The legislation, dubbed the Developing Roadway Infrastructure for a Vibrant Economy (DRIVE) Act of 2015, is a $278 billion, six-year transportation reauthorization bill. John Deere, King Agro form carbon-fiber partnership

Deere & Co. and carbon-fiber technology products manufacturer King Agro have entered into a partnership, John Deere said recently. Through this new association, King Agro will develop and distribute carbon-fiber booms that will be used exclusively for John Deere application equipment. Groff acquires Trico, expands territory to 11 locations in four states

Groff Tractor & Equipment, Inc., said this week that it has acquired CASE Construction dealer Trico Equipment Services, LLC, which expands Groff’s territory to 11 locations in four states. Groff’s acquisition of Trico gives it three new facilities in New Jersey -- in Vineland, Totowa and Freehold.
