Munroe Mobile Crushing outfits Ireland plant with Metso gear

John Munroe Mobile Crushing & Screening will use a Metso LT1213 mobile impactor plant for its quarry work in Ireland.

"When preparing the decision, the size, transportability, mobility, durability and reliability of the crushing plant were decisive for us," Munroe Managing Director John Munroe said. "Metso's Lokotrack could meet these qualifications best."

McGrath's Quarry in Cong, Ireland, processes nearly two dozen different stone products for construction, agriculture and glass production. Munroe has been brought in as a mobile contractor to handle crushing of some of the raw materials.

Munroe purchased its mobile Metso plant from Metso's exclusive Ireland dealer, McHale Plant Sales.

"Our customers are influenced by a number of factors that are giving Metso an edge, such as Metso's status as a well-resourced, global supplier and its proven credentials in the field of crusher design and technology," Plant Sales Managing Director Michael McHale said.

Munroe will also tow the mobile crusher to its next big job on the Gort-Tuam motorway. The project began in April 2014 and will continue through February 2018, building a north-south roadway to connect the Irish towns of Gort and Tuam.
