Wacker Neuson’s pioneering telehandler maximizes construction operations
The TH522, a unique ground-engaging telehandler, is designed for use with ground-engaging attachments. The apparatus can function as a wheel loader to dig and carry; work like a skid steer with a compact footprint capable of using a multitude of attachments; and operate as a telehandler, with a lift height of 16 feet, 7 inches and operating capacity of 4,100 pounds.
Powered by a 60-horsepower Tier 4 Final Turbo-charged Perkins engine, the TH522 reaches a speed of 19 miles per hour with an auxiliary hydraulic flow of 18 gallons per minute. Compatible with most wheel loader and skid steer attachments, it is designed with a spacious cab interior for operator comfort, including an HVAC system similar to that of automotive systems.
An ergonomically designed joystick allows control over all boom lift/lower, boom telescope/retract, roll/tilt functions, and differential lock and third circuit auxiliary hydraulic controls. The TH522 features a Vertical Loading System capable of both bucket and fork modes.
Wacker Neuson’s TH522 telehandler’s multiple abilities to dig, move and lift can exceed the average lift-and-place telehandler performance and is ideal for a range of applications.
