Mining, aggregates solutions firm Metso opens service center in Mesa

Metso, a world leader in the mining and aggregates industries and in the flow-control realm, recently opened a new service center in Mesa, Arizona.

The center will serve customers in the mining, aggregates and process industries.

"The Mesa facility complements our global network of service centers and is part of our investments in customer closeness, so that we can extend and improve the service we provide,"  Perttu Louhiluoto, Metso's president for mining and aggregates services, said.

The full-service center will offer field service, repair, wear and spare parts and life-cycle service solutions, and will employ 60 service experts.

"The Mesa service facility is strategically located in Arizona to provide local service to our growing mining and aggregate customer base in the southwestern USA and Mexico," Terry Wilkins, senior vice president, minerals, for Metso's USA and Canada markets.

Metso operates 50 service centers across the globe. Recent additions include facilities in Peru and Mexico; a new service center will open in Labrador City, Canada, later this year.

Metso employs 14,000 industry experts in more than 50 countries.
