Hilco Industrial and Gordon Brothers Group said late last week that they are collaborating to sell assets of one of the leading premier oil and gas servicing companies in the nation, Butch’s Trucking, Inc.

Butch’s Trucking is part of Butch’s Family of Companies, which is privately held. The sale decision was made as a strategic one, as Butch’s Trucking has decided to end its heavy-haul services as they relate to third-party contracting.

The assets include an extensive fleet of heavy-haul and trucking equipment. There will be more than 100 trailers, heavy-haul trucks, wheel loaders and cranes at the sale. The equipment includes over 30 heavy-haul trailers, over 50 Road Winch, Gin and Slick Back trucks, a Grove Hydro 275-Ton Crane, Grove Hydro 165-Ton Crane, and Manitowoc 100-Ton Crawler Cranes, among other equipment.

Both Hilco Industrial and Gordon Brothers will operate the private treaty sale process, which begins immediately and is expected to run through November.

"Butch's is one of the most reputable service companies in this industry, and we are excited to offer their exceptionally maintained fleet of late-model, heavy-haul assets to the marketplace,” a representative of the joint partnership said. “The company's reputation for servicing large blue-chip oil and gas companies is unsurpassed. The combination of heavy-haul tractors and the capacity of Butch's crane fleet make this a unique offering to the Industry.”
