Vermeer launches productivity tools package

Vermeer recently unveiled its InSite Productivity Tools, which assist a horizontal direction drill (HDD) contractor to simplify and streamline the job process, beginning with planning and ending with invoicing.

This new tool will allow contractors to document project work much more easily than before.

The tool unites bore planning, documentation, remote monitoring components and data collection to assist contractors in better managing business. The tool can be used in invoicing, mapping, planning and more. It is useful for individuals as well as teams, as it helps people collaborate seamlessly. Multiple parties can access the tool to make united work. It also helps teams to share information in real time.

InSite Productivity Tools feature a series of components, which are applicable either individually or together, such as InSite Fleet Edge, InSite Fleet, InSite Mapping, InSite Projects, InSite BoreAid Design Tool and InSite BoreAssist. All of these components can be used to help underground contractors simplify and improve their planning, production, maps, management of HDD projects and invoicing.

“Project owners are demanding more information, which is making the current planning and record-keeping processes complicated and messy,” Jon Kuyers, senior global product manager of Underground for Vermeer, said. “InSite Productivity Tools eliminate the old manual, on-paper method and provide an accurate, electronic-documented record of the entire project, which helps expedite invoicing.”
