Pacific STIHL celebrates grand opening of new, larger facility

Pacific STIHL, a division of STIHL, Inc., recently held a ribbon cutting and building dedication ceremony to recognize the company’s move to its new facility in Visalia, California.

After approximately six months of building office space and installing conveyors and racking, the company has moved into the facility.

The new building almost triples the company’s square footage, amounting to an estimated 140,000 square feet. The facility is placed on eight acres and has graduated from eight dock doors at its last facility to 18 dock doors. Now the company can continue fulfilling dealer orders the same day.

This is the second time that Pacific STIHL has expanded in just five years, a circumstance attributed to STIHL’s unprecedented growth.

This expansion demonstrates Pacific STIHL’s commitment to its local community. Several business owners and local leaders attended the event, including Eric Frost, the deputy city manager. In addition, the local Chamber of Commerce helped organize the ceremony.

At the ceremony, Larry Blamer, Pacific STIHL's branch manager, cut the ribbon with a STIHL MSA 200 C-BQ lithium-ion-battery-powered chainsaw.

“Our last move was meant to carry us through 10 years of anticipated growth,” Blamer, whose territory encompasses STIHL dealers in California, Arizona, Nevada, Hawaii, and Guam, said. “We’ve outgrown it in five.”
