Rouse: June rental, construction equipment sales down from May
Rouse recorded 5,106 units that sold at 39 separate auction sales conducted across North America in June. The units represented a combined FLV (as of May 31) of $138.6 million and generated $125.8 million of gross auction proceeds.
And although the most recent three months of auction results indicate softening equipment values, the year-to-date total is balanced at 2.9 percent below Rouse FLV values (YTD FLV $701.8 million, gross auction proceeds $681.8 million).
The April Rouse Rate Index was up 0.1 percent on average for the rental companies participating in the Rouse Analytics Rental Metrics Benchmark Service.
However, rates are up 2.1 percent relative to April 2014 and up 25.5 percent relative to January 2011. April physical utilization is up 1.9 percent from March.
