CDK Global unveils dealer-management system Insight 2.0

CDK Global recently unveiled its IntelliDealer Insight 2.0, the company’s new dealer-management system (DMS) for construction and agriculture dealers of various sizes.

CDK Global Heavy Equipment asked for feedback and collaboration with focus groups on the new system, helping the company develop 13 new enhancements. With one of the new functions, a dealer can return units to different branches, print a rental-utilization report and view the return screen within a contract.

Dealership staffs will benefit from other new integrated features of the Insight 2.0 DMS as well, including a rental-management feature, engineered to simplify completing daily managerial tasks. Additionally, the new Alert Management feature will enable a dealership's staff to configure and automatically send emails.

The Technician Scheduling feature will enable managers to use drag-and-drop computer interface functions, which serve to improve dealerships' customer service and streamline decision making.

“To date, over 90 percent of our clients already have discovered the powerful business tools that make up our first release of IntelliDealer Insight – and Insight 2.0 continues to build upon that,” Frank DeDecker, senior director for client services at CDK Global Heavy Equipment, said. “By listening to and partnering with the dealer community, we have enhanced and refined our comprehensive DMS to help dealers improve productivity and transform their businesses.”
