National Ready Mixed Concrete Association restructured

The National Ready Mixed Concrete Association (NRMCA) recently restructured its departments, pending approval from its board of directors.

The changes include the renaming of the Promotion department to Local Paving. It will be headed by Brian Killingsworth, who was promoted to senior vice president/division head.

Amanda Hult was named a senior director of Local Paving as part of the restructuring. Hult was previously senior director of Pavement Structures.

In addition to Hult, Killingsworth will oversee Jon Hansen, senior vice president of Local Paving; Glenn Ochsenreiter, senior vice president of National Resources;  and Senior Directors Phil Kresge and Doug O’Neill.

Another senior director also will be hired for Local Paving.

Also as part of the restructuring, the Sustainability Department will be renamed the Structures Promotion and Sustainability Department. It will continue to be headed by Senior Vice President/Division Head Lionel Lemay.

Tien Peng, vice president of Sustainability, Codes and Standards, and Gregg Lewis, senior director of Building Promotion, will continue to report to Lemay.

“This major restructuring of NRMCA will more accurately reflect the long-term strategic goals of the ready mixed concrete industry and fulfill the wishes of our membership,” NRMCA President Robert Garbini said. “Both Brian and Lionel, and their respective staff, have clearly defined roles, which will no doubt advance NRMCA’s overall mission of promoting concrete as the building material of choice.”
