Multiquip offers customers free mobile app to track orders
The MQ Hub app is available for most Androids, iPhones and iPads, and is also available as a free download at the App Store and Google Play Store.
“In today’s busy work environment, timely knowledge is one key to success. With the MQ Hub app, our customers always know where their orders are,” Michael Hanken, Multiquip's vice president-information technology, said. “We want to give our customers the tools they need to be successful, and that is not just with top-quality equipment, but with top-quality customer service.”
Hanken said that once the information is entered into the app, users will know the status of the order -- whether it is being processed, or partially or fully shipped. If the order has shipped, users can click on the tracking number for Multiquip’s primary shipping partners: FedEx, UPS, USPS and Echo.
"The tracking number is automatically submitted to our partner’s website, and they provide everything you need to know about the shipment’s latest location and estimated arrival date," Hanken said. The app never asks for log-in information or a user's MQ account number, and no addresses are shown either.
The 42-year-old Multiquip manufactures and supplies products and solutions for the construction, industrial, telecom, government, noncommercial, entertainment, and oil and gas exploration markets.
