Drill manufacturing company E-Z Drill is in the midst of an expansion that will add approximately 20 percent more floor space to its factory in Stillwater, Oklahoma.

The expansion will add more than 7,500 square feet of space to the 36,355-square-foot factory, providing space for an office, a new shipping and receiving area, and space for the company's growing welding department. The project was started in June and is set to wrap up by early fall of this year.

“We’re adding on to our facility to meet the growing demand from customers in the construction, public works and utility industries for our products and services," Randy Stevens, E-Z Drill's vice president of sales and marketing, said. "The new addition will streamline production by expanding our welding area, giving us room for additional workers, and providing space for our automated design and manufacturing equipment. That way, we can continue completing orders quickly and efficiently for our customers around the world.”

E-Z Drill also plans to incorporate a new inventory system set to minimize waste and inventory costs. The company provides pneumatic drilling equipment for concrete drilling and doweling applications.
