Manitowoc features M 14 tower crane at Batimat

Featuring a 1.8-ton capacity with a 62-foot lift height that has been impressing users and observers alike on job sites since its 2013 debut, Manitowoc took its M 14 tower crane to this month's Batimat exhibit in Paris.

“The Igo M 14 is a highly compact and versatile self-erecting crane that is ideal for small-scale construction jobs,” Manitowoc Global Product Director Jean-Pierre Zaffiro said. “Offering more lifting height than any other crane in its niche, the Igo M 14 gives crane owners the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects.”

Batimat is an international trade show for construction and architecture innovation. This year's exhibit ran from Nov. 2-6 at the Parc des Expositions de Paris Nord Villepinte Convention Center and attracted more than 350,000 attendees.

“Batimat is an important exhibition which gave us the opportunity to help customers find solutions that will improve their work,” Zaffiro said. “Exhibiting with some of our dealers in the region allowed us to showcase our industry-leading products while continuing to collect vital feedback and build strong relationships with our customers.”

Manitowoc has two of its largest manufacturing facilities in the U.S., the Manitowoc manufacturing facility in Wisconsin, where both crawler crane and tower crane parts are produced and the Shady Grove plant in Pennsylvania, where mobile cranes and boom trucks are built. There are also regional offices in Mexico and Brazil, and an extensive dealer network throughout the U.S. and Canada.
