Kobelco hires new environmental safety and HR specialist
“Environmental health and safety is a priority for KOBELCO,” KOBELCO North American Excavator Production Facility General Manager Ralph Wabnitz said. “Our facility in Japan is currently the most modern and high-quality excavator plant in the world, but our U.S. facility will be just as impressive. Linsey displays the expertise and determination to develop, implement and maintain top-notch EHS and HR procedures for the U.S. manufacturing plant.”
Kobelco offers construction machinery in the 3,000- to 245,00-pound weight classes, including construction machinery like zero tail swing, compact, standard, long-reach, mass excavation, and demolition models.
As the EHS/HR specialist, Cooke will strive to prevent negative occurrences in areas including occupational hazards, industrial hygiene, safety inspections and training, ergonomics assessment and worker’s compensation.
Cooke will also be in charge of creating and executing and maintaining a comprehensive health and safety program in compliance with federal, state and local regulations at the excavator production facility in South Carolina.
