Grove dealer for Finland sells first two cranes
The GMK3060 all-terrain crane was delivered in July and the GMK4100L will be delivered later in September – both making valuable additions to the customer’s growing fleet.
The GMK3060 was displayed at the MAXPO Trade Exhibition which took place from Sept. 10-12 in Hyvinkää, Finland. Machinery Oy exhibited a number of models at the show, which drew more than 15,000 visitors from the municipal and private real estate sectors.
“MAXPO is the most important exhibition for the construction industry here in Finland and we are delighted to have had the opportunity to showcase our latest Grove model – the GMK3060,” Machinery Oy Business Area Director – Cranes Vesa Hakkarainen said. “The mobile crane is easy to transport by road for use in remote locations, which is very helpful in a predominantly rural country such as Finland. As our first customer to buy the model, we will keep in close contact with Nostokonepalvelu Oy to ensure that the GMK3060 not only meets – but surpasses their expectations.”
Manitowoc has two of its largest manufacturing facilities in the U.S., the Manitowoc manufacturing facility in Wisconsin, where both crawler crane and tower crane parts are produced, and the Shady Grove plant in Pennsylvania, where mobile cranes and boom trucks are built. There are also regional offices in Mexico and Brazil. Its extensive dealer network throughout the U.S. and Canada boasts coverage and support unrivaled by any other crane manufacturer.
