Bronto Skylift to display truck-mounted aerials at ICUEE 2015 show
The SI-197 HDT is mounted on a TOR 8X6 all-wheel-steer chassis. It is an insulated aerial that can accomplish barehand work involving power lines up to a maximum of 765 Kv AC as well as 560 Kv DC. This equipment includes a full 197 foot working height as well as a capacity of 1,000 pounds. All of this is done from its standard issue 6.5-foot by three-foot platform. Its horizontal outreach extends 72 feet and has a 360-degree continuous turntable rotation. It is deployed with a push-button outrigger, and it is leveled with an automatic outrigger. This equipment is easily and quickly set up to reach almost any overhead work area. It takes fewer than 15 minutes between the jacks setting and the full elevation.
The S-173 XDT is heavy duty. It is mounted with a six-by-six Peterbuilt chassis. It provides a working height of 173 feet, a horizontal outreach of 100 feet and a capacity of 1,400 pounds. It also has a standard platform measuring more than 23 square feet. This model will be included in the ICUEE display. It includes the most recent computerized operating and maintenance technologies that Bronto has developed.
The show will be hosted in Louisville, Kentucky, from Sept. 29 to Oct. 1, 2015.
