John Deere extends JDLink subscriptions to five years

John Deere understands that its customers want more information on how their equipment is being used, no matter where the equipment is.

The company has responded in kind by giving production scale equipment owners five years of the JDLink Ultimate service, allowing users to know where their assets are and how they are performing. Prior to this, John Deere offered the subscription for three years.

Users of John Deere's production-scale equipment leverage JDLink's potential by remotely monitoring the machine information for alerts, location, utilization, performance and machine data to make sure the equipment is being used to the best of its ability. This is all part of John Deere's WorkSight, which allows customers to be more productive by knowing what's really going on within their machines and avoiding downtime.

The extension covers a number of models including 50D-II, 300D-II, 370E, 410E and 460E articulated dump trucks; 1050K crawler dozer; 470G, 670G and 870G excavators; and 744K-II, 824K-II, 844K-II and 944K wheel loaders.
