Leppo chairman tells House panel U.S. oil-export ban should be lifted

Dale Leppo , chairman of Leppo, Inc., and former chairman of the Association of Equipment Distributors (AED), testified at a House Small Business Committee hearing last week. The hearing was focused on the ban on U.S. crude oil exports and what could happen if it were lifted. John Deere, King Agro form carbon-fiber partnership

Deere & Co. and carbon-fiber technology products manufacturer King Agro have entered into a partnership, John Deere said recently. Through this new association, King Agro will develop and distribute carbon-fiber booms that will be used exclusively for John Deere application equipment. John Deere plans new emissions upgrades on K-Series wheel-loader line

John Deere said recently that it will be updating its K-Series loader vehicles to keep in line with the Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) Final Tier 4 emissions standards. Specifically, the 444K, 524K and 544K wheel loaders will receive a PowerTech diesel engine that is within the Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) Final Tier 4 (FT4) and the European Union's (EU) Stage IV regulatory requirements.
